If you use a separate receive antenna, here’s a product you need! Gary Nichols, KD9SV, designed the Front End Saver to eliminate the possibility of blowing out your receiver’s front end while using an auxiliary receive antenna. The circuit is designed to disconnect the receive antenna during transmit, ground the receiver input when transmitting thus keeping RF out of your radio and eliminating the chance of blowing your radio’s front end. Will work with all amplifiers and especially with older tube designs, Gary has added a heavy duty relay to protect the internal low voltage relay.

New Improved Solid State Switching design.

Gary has up-dated the Front End Saver circuit using a new "bullet-proof" solid state relay design. Lightning fast action means an even greater level of protection for your radio's sensitive front end.

Professionally designed and built, this unit will give you the peace of mind you need when using separate receive antennas.

Note, this keying circuit will not work with amplifiers that have negative voltage keying circuits like the Heathkit SB200 or Yaesu FL2100-B or Collins 30L-1
